Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening . Burglaries One attempted burglary was reported in the past week. The offenders turned up but were disturbed by a neighbour so no entry was gained. Please ensure you lock any outbuildings as well. They are still at risk of being broken into.
. Vehicle Crime Two vehicles have been reported stolen. These happened on Stevenson Road and Wall Hill Road. Both cars were left locked and secured so unknown how they gained access. A vehicle was broken into on Tamworth Road. Unfortunately, this hadn’t locked properly as the seatbelt had caught in the door. Always check your vehicle before leaving it.
You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com
. In other News Patrols by your local team have been continuing with a good result.
Officers came across a vehicle on Northbrook Road. The driver ran off. I wonder why??? Officers searched the vehicle and guess what they found? All of these “sweets” packets were full of drugs! Be careful what your children are purchasing!
Officers also seized the vehicle 😊
We had a report of a vehicle being damaged. When officers attended, a male was arrested for the damage. Upon searching him, he was found with cannabis. Now also being charged with possession.
Patrols in other areas have been continuing including areas that have been brought to our attention as being hotspot areas for anti-social behaviour.
![]() This vehicle was seized for having no tax. If you want to keep it, tax it!
A busy week as always.
Until next week Stay safe everyone.
